That's one of the harder automotive efforts to do and the work came out perfectly. The best part is that his estimate was the most reasonable and they allowed me to bring my own parts- a key factor in helping me decide.

"Update: I've been taking my car for almost five years now, and guess what? They've yet to lie, mislead, sell me services I don't need, you know, all the issues many of us have to deal with at other mechanics services. Emick's is always honest, and I really do mean always. I've brought my car in thinking I needed new breaks, shocks, etc., and they have never tried to sell me something I don't need. And I have a 2001 SVU, so I do assume I need things fixed because of the age of the car. But Emick's has always told me when they think a part really needs to be replaced, rather than when it could be replaced so they could make more money. I would recommend Emick's to everyone I know, but then again I don't want to have to wait two weeks to get my car in! So I guess I shouldn't have written this update."

"Fantastic service at reasonable prices. I took my boyfriend's 2001 Toyota Tacoma here for everything from a timing belt change to replacing a door handle to an oil change. I always had great service. When replacing the door handle, the owner told me he could order the official Toyota part, or I could order a knock-off part for a 1/3 of the price and he could put it on. He gave me the part number so I would be sure to order the right part. The door handle works great. Work was always done on-time and on-quote. And, when I had to drop off the truck for the day but it was raining, he offered to give me a ride home (I was on Albion St, so just outside of their test-driving area). I was sad when we moved away from the area - if I still lived in Colorado, I would definitely make the trek here for the excellent service. When we were ready to move, the owner looked over the truck and got it ready for the drive to the east coast. The owner was also always friendly and gave fantastic hiking recommendations! "

"I've only been here once, but I have zero complaints about my experience with Emick's.  I was having a car issue for about two months that no one seemed to know how to fix.  I was told that I'd have to wait a week for my car to be looked at, but I figured it was worth it because of all the good reviews.  I left my car here for one day, and when I picked it up, it was all good.  The following day, I left for a 2,000 mile road trip (going all around the Rocky Mountains), and the car ran great!  Thank you for the excellent service; I'll definitely be recommending and coming here for any car trouble in the future."
